1. Readability is a simple tool that makes reading on the Web more enjoyable by removing the clutter around what you’re reading.

One of my must have bookmarklets.

  2. The Donnybrook Quarter (London, England) looks very similar to the accommodation between Smithfield and Manor Street (Dublin, Ireland).

  3. The Green Technology Showroom, by Vector Architects, is exactly like it says on the tin. Green roofs and walls, always generate an emotional response from me. This one with it’s angles and irregular window placements amazes me.

  4. Super-Kamiokande, or Super-K for short, is a neutrino observatory in the city of Hida, Gifu Prefecture, Japan. The observatory was designed to search for proton decay, study solar and atmospheric neutrinos, and keep watch for supernovas in the Milky Way Galaxy.

  5. “Primates” places him – both as photographer and as subject – in inhospitable terrains to contrast the vulnerability of the human body with the stark roughness of nature.

A nice series of photos from Ruben Brulat.

  6. Visual Aid provides the answers to the little questions in life in a simple colourful and engaging way. Included are: colour wheels, universal flags, star constellations, correct tablesettings, how reflexology works, the Italian wine regions, how to tie a knot, how to use chopsticks, sign language, morse code and many more.

Definitely tempted to buy this book. Added to my wishlist.

  7. Echofon for Mac syncs unread tweets with Echofon pro on your iPhone.

More and more complexity being layered on top of a simple foundation.
